Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. While growing up, she listened to a lot of traditional music as well as traditional Boleros. They also played classic romantic ballads, as well as traditional ranchero. Ana is a lover of the operas and tangos. In addition, she is a fan of the dramatic stage. Ana began to study singing and play the piano from an early age, along together with her mom. She received more formal singing instruction when she was 16 years old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. The singer continued her education in the field of music with the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. While a young student and professional, she was a part of many chamber groups and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She is a current member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and regularly performs as a soloist performing traditional Latin American music at private occasions. As a teacher and musician she has a passion for various community-based projects due to her enthusiasm and enthusiasm for music. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana appreciates having the chance to share her passion and passion of traditional Latin American songs with others, and in doing so hopes to inspire a passion for younger generations in order to keep this tradition of music lively and alive.Viva Mexico!
