Rosalia
Rosalia Vila, also known as Rosalia Rosaly, is an Spanish singer of flamenco. Since she was a teenager, she's embraced the edges of both popular and traditional music. Additionally, she plays with genres like hip-hop trap and soul. Her voice has been called by no less of a talent than Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sharp and sweet however with a bit of bite similar to older versions. El Mal Querer gained her notoriety and commercial success when her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. The album earned her an award called the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami was her third full-length album. The album featured collaborations on songwriting with other performers and producers like Cory Henry. It was released in 2022, as a result of a Saturday Night Live appearance by the singer Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia did her solo performance for the first time ever on the program. Motomami was the sole female in history to be the recipient of the Latin Album of the Year twice, as well as the three Latin Grammy Awards.
